Presenting Evergroove Studio Web 2.0

It’s been a long time coming but Evergroove Studio has a new website and we’re excited to share it with you!

When we started building Evergroove Studio we looked at many other Denver recording studio websites as well as recording studio sites all over the World. We made notes on what we liked and what we didn’t like and then Jenny rolled up her sleeves and got hard to work on Evergroove’s first website.

That site was launched back in 2006 when Evergroove first opened. We would often hear that, out of all the recording studios in the Denver area, our site was the best because of ease of use, fast loading times, photos, and a clear layout that made information easy to find. When people gave us constructive criticism we responded by changing the site to accommodate those requests (like sound samples – duh!). However Evergroove Web 1.0 was a static, CSS based, site and updating it on a regular basis took more effort than we had time.

After some years of unintentional neglect, and as our business started to grow substantially, we realized that we needed a new web site. One that was based on a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla. We finally settled on WordPress and then, once again, got to work.

And here we are…

We love the new site. It’s fast, it’s informational, and we have tons of photos of actual sessions (instead of just recording equipment like many recording studio websites) and we feel it gives you a good idea of what it’s like to be in a recording session at Evergroove Studio. We’ve incorporated a long list of sound samples and we finally have a blog which we intend to update once a week with various topics about the life of a recording studio owner as well as recording studio tips and tricks.

So check out the new site and let us know what you think – Evergroove Studio.
